New Obedience Trial Champion!

OTCh U-CD JO Whirlwinds Island Rook, WC, HT, RN (Rook)

On Sunday May 4, 2008 Cheryl and Rook finished Rook's Obedience Trial Championship with nice scores in the Utility ring. 

Rook is a Tudorose girl of sire CH Tudorose Roman Emperor, NA, CDX, WC, JH (Joley - owned by Cheryl) and dam Can.Ch and MOTCH Napoli Oneacmepoodlekit Am. UD (Olivia)

Says Cheryl:
Rook is chewing my hair in the picture....she has done that since she was 8 weeks old and sitting on my lap at the airport in Charlottetown, PEI waiting to fly home. This is her biggest reward for work well done.....better than toys or treats and I get to take it in the ring with me. When trialing, I discreetly bend down between exercises (or maybe not so discreetly....one of the judges asked me how much hair I lost getting to the OTCh title) and let her chew my hair for a nano second as a reward. When she is really cranked.....she can yank out quite a mouthful......but I know that if she won't chew my hair and doesn't give her usual big jump-up at the start of the heeling that we are in trouble.

Tudorose Poodles at PCA 2008:

It was a wonderful year for Tudorose Poodles at PCA 2008!    We had Tudorose poodles at field, agility, and obedience.

OBEDIENCE:       Tudorose poodles excelled at the obedience events!

• Lisa with Shaver (Tudorose Smooth Operator Am.CD , Am.RN, RA, RE & Can. RA & Can, CDX) took high in class in both Novice B and Open A
  
• Nixie took second in Open A
  
• Pat with Harper (Can. MOTCH JO Whirlwinds Majormajormajor CGC Am RN, JH, UD, PCA WCX)took first in Open B, second in Utility with a high combined Open and Utility score!

FIELD: Three Tudorose poodles were at the field events and all obtained passes.

• Jean with Ghillie (Tudorose Dreamcatcher Daventry,CGC,CDX,WC ) got their WC
  
• Mary Ruth with McCheers (Tudorose McCheers JH, NA, NAJ , PCA WCX) got their WC and WCX and a Senior Hunter Leg
  
• Pat with Harper (Can. MOTCH JO Whirlwinds Majormajormajor CGC Am RN, JH, UD, PCA WCX) got their WC, WCX, and a Senior Hunter Leg
