Lisa Day Obedience and Grooming Seminar
February 20 & 21, 2010


Lisa has over 30 years experience in grooming and regularly conducts grooming seminars and workshops. She is a certified IPG Master Groomer and IPG certified grooming evaluator and is currently the coordinator of the Professional Grooming Program at Algonquin College in Ottawa.

Lisa has worked with poodles in the sport of competitive obedience for over 20 years both in the US and in Canada. Her current partner; MOTCH Tudorose Smooth Operator RE AM.CDX Am. RE (Shaver) will complete his Grand Master title in 2010.

  • Front and Finish 2007 #1 Poodle
  • Ranked #1 Poodle team in America 2003

  • Over 70 HITs
  • Nationally Ranked on multiple occasions in both Canada and USA
  • Represented State of California in WIOC Tournament held in Alaska
  • Has competed in Ottawa’s Hit of HITs competition for past 7 years

Cost: $175 with dog for both days, $90 one day. Includes snacks and tea/coffee

** We will have indoor crate space for your dogs BUT if your dog is noisy or otherwise disruptive, you will likely be asked to move your dog outside to your vehicle.

Grooming Seminar - Saturday, February 20 at 8.30 am
There will be a full day grooming session -pet trim only. Face, feet, tummy, tail, topknots and some body work will be covered. This seminar is suitable for beginners and experienced people who want specific information about grooming their Poodles.

Obedience Seminar – Sunday, February 21 at 8.30 am

This will be a full day of obedience training which is suitable for all levels including pet manners. Lisa will customize the training to each individual with problem solving a priority. The problem may be an issue at home, in the field, in the ring, or playing in the park…. Lisa will be happy to help.
