Obedience

There are many Tudorose Poodles excelling in the obedience ring at various levels.  They are clearly poodles who love obedience and also love showing off.

Tudorose Primo Bravissimo, UDX2, ASCA-UD, FFX-OP, FFX-OG (Primo)
Date of birth:  July 4th, 2001
Primo began his obedience career showing in ASCA and earning his CD with two High in Trials. He went on to earn his AKC CD at the Poodle Regional in 2003, as well as an FFX Obedience Platinum Award (three consecutive scores of 195 or higher)! One year later Primo earned his AKC CDX title and FFX Obedience Gold Award (three consecutive scores of 190 or higher). He and his owner earned their AKC Utility Dog Title in December of 2005, two High in Trials and a High Combined, UDX in May 2007, and UDX2 in January 2008. Along the way, he earned his ASCA-CDX and UD.  His owner says that she often thinks that Primo is her “once in a lifetime dog”! 


His owner adds "Primo is loaded with drive, speed (dearly loved agility the short time we competed), intelligence and loves a challenge. Even more important, he is my loving shadow as he fills my days with smiles…and lots of laughs. Although he is not an “official” therapy dog, he certainly fits the bill when he visits my father-in-law and other residents in a nursing home."

In 2005, Primo had a standing of 5th in Front & Finish's rating system for Non-Sporting.
